Resolved - Between 19:30 and 20:00 we observed a brief drop in connectivity from collars using the Telenor network in Norway. Telenor is reporting ongoing problems, but our monitoring shows that collar traffic is back to normal. The virtual fence function continues to function as normal when there are issues with the mobile network, and for customers the main inconvenience is lost reports from the collars as well as difficulties updating pastures.

Resolved - The incident is currently not ongoing any more. We believe the problems the past days have been caused by strong solar storms are now over, and there are no forecasts of further increase in strength. We are continuing to monitor the collar performance closely during the weekend, and will send out new information if the conditions change to the worse again.

Update - We are continuing to investigate this issue.
May 16, 10:58 CEST
Investigating - There are ongoing external disturbances to the GPS system that the collars use. This could lead to the collar positions being wrong and the animals could receive pulses even when they are within the fence. You may also get notifications about animals escaping, when they have not.

Based on current knowledge, 2.5 Collars (collars from 2023 and 2024) are not affected.

If your collars are affected we have the following suggestions which may help:
- Expand the pasture if possible, and provide food and water well within the boundary lines
- Make sure all pasture lines are well away from buildings, at least 20 metres if possible. Buildings can also interfere with the GPS positions and thus make the situation worse.
- Deactivate the pasture and keep the animals fenced in with traditional fences.

We will revert with more information as soon as we know more.
